Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Viewstorm ("the Service") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may modify these Terms; we will post the new date at the top of this page, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of the Service

Viewstorm is an invite-only YouTube research and production service run by a creator for a small number of client channels, with a web app, a desktop app and a phone app. Depending on what your account has access to, it includes:

  • Channel research: competitors, audiences, topics and market snapshots
  • Content ideation and AI-assisted tools (called Storm)
  • Production tools for planning and editing videos, in the desktop app
  • Workflows, schedules and alerts by email or phone notification
  • Posting the videos you approve to your connected YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts

3. Accounts

Accounts are created by invitation, usually after an application is accepted. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information in your application and account
  • Keep your Google or Apple sign-in secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Not share your account or the apps with others

You can delete your account at any time on your Account page.

4. YouTube API Services

Viewstorm uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access to your YouTube data at any time in your Google security settings.

5. Posting to connected accounts

You can connect your YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts and post videos to them from Viewstorm. Every post needs your explicit approval, with the settings you choose. By posting you confirm that:

  • You own, or have permission to publish, everything in the video: footage, music, images, voices and text, including anything you obtained from other services, and that publishing it follows those services' terms
  • Your captions, titles and disclosures (for example of paid partnerships or AI-generated content) are accurate
  • The post follows the rules of the platform you post to

You are responsible for what you post. Delivery, processing, visibility and availability depend on each platform's permissions, reviews and limits; until a platform approves Viewstorm for public posting, posts there may be limited to private visibility. Disconnecting an account removes Viewstorm's access; you manage or delete published posts on the platform itself.

6. Fees

Any fees for working with us are agreed with you directly before any charge.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Do not post spam, misleading content, or content you do not have the rights to
  • Do not attempt to access other users' data or our systems
  • Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or its apps
  • Do not use the Service to infringe others' intellectual property

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Viewstorm. Content you create with the Service (ideas, notes, plans, videos produced for your channel) remains yours; you grant us a limited license to store and process it only to provide the Service to you.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Analytics may be incomplete, AI-generated results are suggestions that can be wrong and should be checked, and results on YouTube and other platforms depend on many factors beyond our control.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIEWSTORM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for conduct that violates these Terms. When access ends, your right to use the Service ends, and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
